Why snowmen?
Forty years of snowspiration behind the art.

In 1985, a gifted teddy and short animation shaped my life.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, this cherished teddy bear and the distinctive 26-minute pencil-drawn animation about a young boy who builds a snowman would become my greatest source of inspiration.
Upon my arrival in 1985, I was given this teddy bear, and I can't fully articulate why it has stayed with me all these years, unlike anything else. Yet, for some reason, I found myself instinctively choosing to keep it close.
I have always been captivated by the beauty of snow and the world of art, and reflecting on it now, I truly believe The Snowman animation I watched incessantly during my childhood has been the fundamental spark for that passion.
Therefore, it is entirely fitting for my characters to be inspired by snowmen, as this decision is notably distinctive. The only other snowman that springs to mind is Olaf, who's beloved by all.
Moreover, if a snowman can soar through the skies in the animation "The Snowman", then, in my view, snowmen are capable of anything!
I aspire to motivate individuals through my art to embrace the present, 'tail day is done, as life's fleeting, like a snowman in sun.
Andy Warhol
My approach to painting and it's inherent simplicity is the influence of Andy Warhol.
Roy Lichtenstein
Perforated steel canvas, inspired by Lichtenstein, offers a unique portrayal of snowfall.
Memorabilia
Presenting art similar to framed memorabilia elevates it, adding a refined, professional quality.
Winter Holidays
I love winter; the snowfall and new snowboarding experiences brought everything full circle.
